ABOUT THE TEAM

The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (ARMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril's Planning team is seeking a world-class Senior ERP & Scheduling Specialist to join our team. The role has an integral role at Anduril, having material flow responsibility throughout the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished goods shipped to customers. They will have full ownership of Planning of assemblies and will be ultimately responsible for sending the correct signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build. This hire will be instrumental in signaling material status and planning inventory levels, and ensuring that Anduril supports its hardware requirements via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and other associated tools.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Material Planning

  • Clear-To-Build Planning: Evaluate Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOMs), and program demand for final assemblies to generate accurate, long-range material signals via Purchase Requisitions to align with known program demand and published production schedules. Track PO commitments to assess readiness for manufacturing to execute scheduled work.
  • Demand & Supply Alignment: Partner with Engineering, Configuration Managers, Program Managers, Procurement, and Production Schedulers to ensure all engineering activity and procurement effort completion supports demand and production schedule timelines
  • Shortage Mitigation & Inventory Strategy: Proactively identify material constraints, manage critical shortage escalation processes, and establish optimized inventory levels (safety stock, min/max) to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • KPI & Material Governance: Establish, monitor, and drive continuous improvement on key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on material availability, schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, and on time delivery(OTD).

Supply Planning

  • Material Orchestration: Coordinate closely with the Production Scheduler and Warehouse to assist precise product prestaging, picking, and kitting requirements.
  • Work Order Lifecycle Management: Own the generation, scheduling, and management of manufacturing work orders. Manage aging work orders and dynamically adjust schedule priorities based on real-time material availability, capacity and production changes.
  • Traceability & Compliance: Maintain robust serialized parts and material traceability using system tools and processes within the ERP to meet rigorous Quality Management System (QMS), defense, and HazMat standards.

ERP & MRP System

  • MRP: Act as the owner of material planning logic in MRP: ensure all lead times, reorder points, and master data parameters under the items master configuration and planning applications are regularly evaluated for accuracy.
  • Planning Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Production to continuously refine ERP workflows, ensuring the system is highly effective for MRP.
  • SME Support & Training: Troubleshoot MRP-related issues for end-users, design systemic solutions, and provide training to help build Planning Department capability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience & Education: 5+ years of experience in Material Planning and/or Supply Planning.
    Academic coursework or a technical degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced Analytics: Experience utilizing Ai-driven data tools to build custom tracking material requirements, inventory health, and scheduling metrics.
  • Planning: Must have experience with ERP/MRP systems. Understanding and working knowledge of Capacity Planning, JIT, Kanban, and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Ability to work in high volume & high pace environment.
  • Regulatory Standards: Experience managing government-furnished material under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.
  • Purchase Requisitioning: Extensive experience creating, managing, and optimizing purchase requisitions
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement: Experience working within AS9100 quality systems and applying Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles to reduce material & process waste.
