TE Connectivity in Greensboro, NC is looking for a Sr. Quality & Reliability Engineer to drive and engage cross functional teams to conduct root cause analysis on both internal and external quality issues and formulate resolutions in a timely manner. Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of actions. Apply specialized knowledge of the fundamentals of TEOA (continuous improvement), knowledge of machines and special and unique products of TE Connectivity. Be the first contact for customer complaints and concerns, providing quick and accurate responses. Keep close contact with customers, being the link between customer and the plant. Assist Manufacturing Engineering in development of acceptable process values and associated monitoring for key components. Work with Product Engineering on new product development concerning inspection methodologies and tolerancing using quality tools including, but not limited to, FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5-Y problem solving tools. Apply knowledge in direct identification of root cause, drive improvement actions and resolve problems.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 5 years of experience with the following:
  1. Quality Control and Assurance.
  2. Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving.
  3. Customer Communication and Relationship Management.
  4. Knowledge of Industry Standards and Regulations.
  5. Technical Knowledge of Stamping and Plating Processes.
