Job description

A major law firm in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Real Estate Paralegal to support its sophisticated Commercial Real Estate practice. This is a high-level role where paralegals function much like associate attorneys, handling complex transactions from due diligence through closing.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review transactional documents for complex commercial real estate matters

  • Lead title and survey review, including identifying issues and coordinating curative work

  • Manage all aspects of high-value CRE closings, including preparation and organization of closing sets

  • Review, summarize, and organize due diligence materials and title documentation

  • Maintain billable time in accordance with firm requirements

  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients on fast-paced, high-stakes transactions

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions

  • Experience with complex CRE matters required; Big Law experience strongly preferred

  • Strong drafting skills and comfort handling matters independently

  • Deep knowledge of title and survey review

  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate a plus

  • Ability to manage demanding deadlines and work extended hours as needed
