ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus 2 years additional work experience in a related field may be substituted for aMaster's degree.

Experience:

Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR and/or the Naval Aviation Enterprise with 3 years of specialized experience with CNAF/CNAFR F-16 concept of operations.

Preferred Experience:NAVAIR/Aviation Logistics, USMC/USN/USAF Aviation Maintenance

Functional Description:

The position serves as the DI MANGL Integration Lead with PMA-207, the USMC KC-130J program. The DI MANGL Integration Lead will be responsible for supporting the management of the interface between the C-130J and aircraft subsystems, and mission systems equipment during the design, development, modification, and sustainment phases of the system. The KC-130J DI MANGL Integration Lead will be heavily involved in the KC-130J modification program effort, a MDAP ACAT-1C level acquisition and the DI MANGL effort, a MDAP ACAT II level acquisition effort. The incumbent will assist in programmatic milestones, program schedules and required technical documentation to support the forthcoming upgrades. The KC-130J program is expected to work in concert with PMA-209 to leverage separate contracts for each of the system upgrades and obsolescence requirements. The KC-130J DI MANGL Integration Lead providing avionics, mission system support and air vehicle integration oversight between various vendors, program offices, resource sponsors, and IPT’s. The KC-130J DI MANGL Integration Lead will work with their Government Counterparts to ensure requirements are identified, traceable, testable and executable. He or she will examine written artifacts to determine requirements while assisting in the implementation of suitability requirements. He or she will conduct assessment efforts with human factors and work with the system safety SME to identify and implement requirements into the air vehicle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate between the Avionics and Future Capabilities IPTs on impacts of integration of hardware onto the air vehicle platform

  • Review Key Performance Perimeters (KPPs), Capability Description Documents (CDDs), KC-130J Operational Requirements List (ORL), and provide updates via Requirements Clarification Letters (RCLs)
  • Maintain coordination with VX-20 and the test community and ensure test entrance criterion are met and that the test team post test results are communicated back to the IPT’s with a plan to address any deficiencies.
  • Work with certifying authorities to define requirements and implement
