Job Summary The Analyst, Franchise Profitability will facilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis on franchisee restaurant profitability. Working closely with cross-functional departmentsโ€”including Marketing, Operations, Development, Franchising, Construction, and Field Supportโ€”this role provides insights into profitability trends, identifies outliers, and collaborates with franchisees to develop action plans that drive profitability. The position reports to the Manager, Profitability and is essential in supporting strategic decisions with data-driven insights. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week. Responsibilities Track monthly and quarterly profitability reports submitted by franchisees, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Communicate with franchisee finance teams regarding data submissions, financial health indicators, and identified outliers. Analyze restaurant profitability data, providing insights to the Manager and Director, Profitability, and Field Team General Managers on trends and priority areas. Support regular ad-hoc analyses that identify opportunities for profitability improvement. Create and present profitability reports to senior leadership and field teams, summarizing trends by franchisee, region, division, and restaurant type across various regions. Assist with preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a STEM-related field. 1 year of relevant experience, with a desire to learn and be challenged. Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills. Familiarity with SQL and experience in tools such as Hyperion and Tableau is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating self-motivation and a proactive approach. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
