TheSenior Software Engineerhas a pivotal role within a software factory.The Senior Software Engineer mustleveragetheir technicalexpertiseto drive innovation and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, they shouldpossessstrong collaboration skills to work with other technologists,leaddevelopment of independent components and sub-groups within the factory.

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions inbackend and middleware

• Design and deliver solutions thatleverageRDBMS, Container Orchestration services including Docker,Kubernetes, ECSand a variety of AWS tools and services

• Utilize programming languages likeJava,SpringbootandSQL.

• Collaborate with product owners, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to helpcustomers

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 6+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot and overall backend experience

• Intermediate to advancedprogramming skillsSpringboot, Spring Cloud and related Spring ecosystemto design, develop and maintainmicroserviceson AWS cloud platform.

• Experience creating reusable enterprise application frameworks and libraries to scale and improve adoption ofstandardsby product teams.

• Skilled at delivering high-quality, clean, and reusable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD), object-oriented design, and 12-factor app principles.

• Strongproficiencyin developingscalableand resilient microservices.

• Experience with asynchronous communication patterns and brokers like Kafka.

• Skilledattroubleshootingand resolvingcomplex productionissues quickly and efficiently.

• Experience in containerization technologies like Docker,Kubernetesand ECS.

• Proficiencyin setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, incorporating automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment strategies.

• Experiencebuilding observable systemsto track the performance ofdistributedservices,trace issues, and troubleshoot failures.

• Experiencedeveloping softwareusing System Design principles

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to workwith product managers,architectsand other engineers to define technical requirements.

Added bonus if you have

• Proficiencyandhands-on experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/orOpenTofu.

• Proficiencyin customization of CI/CD workflows and managing multiple environments.
