We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join ourWest Division Financeteam. Reporting to theRegional Finance Managerthis position willbe responsible forsupporting thePacific Regionby performing financial statement, commercial, operational, capital expenditure, and other strategic business analysis activities for the region, while also partnering on regional adherence to financial controls/compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Transform data into information, information intoinsightsand insights into value creation.

  • Through ongoing quantitative analysis, KPIs, tool development and insights generation, inform business decisions and improvement priorities which maximize value creation for the region.

  • Empower leadership by transforming conceptual questions into data-driven insights to drive organizational success.

  • Assistin the development of executive presentations with audiences ranging from local leadership to C-Suite executives.

  • Provide due-diligence support for organic investment opportunities, evaluating if opportunities meet necessary return thresholds.

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships across the organization, including internal customers and peers

  • Support other strategic initiatives andprojects asassigned by management.

  • Partner onGAAP adherence, compliance with financial controls, andaccuratebilling/payment to business partners through partnership with centralized accounting.

  • Perform all activitiesin accordance withthe Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies,proceduresand Code of Ethical Business Conduct.


Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree infinance, accounting or related STEM fieldrequired.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or strategy.

  • Ability to multi-task, support multiple customers/assignmentsand adapt in a dynamic environmentrequired.

  • Self-motivated withabilityto work with minimal supervision in a team environmentrequired.

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical,interpersonalandcommunicationsskillsrequired.

  • Advanced excel and power point skillsrequired.

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time required.


The hiring range for this position is $100,000 -$128,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position. In addition, this role is eligible for our annual bonus program. Bonuses awarded under this program are determined based on the performance of the organization and the employee.
