Our client , a global engineering and manufacturing company seeks a SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER for a direct hire opportunity to join a high tech team that is supporting aerospace and medical industries in the production of ceramics and metals that are used in components for aerospace and implantable medical components Southeast of Providence R.I. in MA.

Salary $90-140k plus bonus, benefits, 401k match

The role is an exciting opportunity to join a global, dynamic, Hi-Tech teamsupporting the medical and aerospace industries. They are the industry leader in development and manufacturing of ceramic to metal seals for both Aerospace and Medical markets.

The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for driving product and process quality performance across manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key technical leader, owning complex investigations, leading customer and regulatory interactions, and ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

The Senior Quality Engineer operates at the intersection of production, engineering, and customer quality, providing both hands-on execution and leadership across critical quality initiatives in aerospace and/or medical manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities across Product & Process Ownership, Customer & Regulatory Interface, Quality Systems & Compliance, Validation & Risk Management, Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement, Supplier & Inspection Support and Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field)

· 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering

· Aerospace and/or medical device experience strongly preferred

· Strong working knowledge of: · CAPA, MRB, NCMR, RMA processes

· Root cause methodologies (8D, DMAIC, etc.)

· Statistical tools (SPC, DOE, Minitab or equivalent)

· Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)

· Experience with ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 quality systems

· ASQ-CQE certification preferred

· This position requires use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
