POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases to validate that solutions meet business and functional requirements and quality standards, supporting both Waterfall and Agile initiatives.
You will need to have experience working with both REGS and custom applications. You'll also ensure software defects and bugs are identified early, and fixes are validated before deployment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy & Planning:
    • Participate in requirements and user story reviews to ensure quality and testability.
    • Confirm the testability of requirements and use cases by ensuring they adhere to standards.
    • Translate project objectives, metrics, and requirements into comprehensive test plans.
    • Collaborate with business, PMO, and implementation teams to ensure quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Execution and Governance:
    • Create, update, and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on business and system requirements using best practices and industry standards.
    • Plan, execute, or manage execution of functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
    • Participate in planning, development, and execution of User Acceptance Testing.
    • Support regression testing activities for releases and vendor updates.
    • Assist with execution of automated tests and provide feedback to automation resources on gaps and failures.
  • Operational Management:
    • Document defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence.
    • Validate defect fixes and perform or manage re-testing as required.
    • Maintain testing evidence and ensure accurate reporting of test status.
    • Collaborate with QA leadership and project teams to manage testing priorities and timelines.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • College diploma or university degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in test planning and development, and software testing.
  • Experience supporting both Waterfall and Agile delivery models.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications such as Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Procore, and/or similar systems preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with test automation concepts and tools is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project status and priorities
  • Ability to report to our Fort Lauderdale, FL, office, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work to support project and release deadlines.
  • Able to remain seated for extended periods while maintaining productivity, focus, and attention to detail
  • May have to visit job sites from time to time, as required by the project and other team initiatives.
