Job Summary:
eCom Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Python/Django Developer to remediate a critical Django application currently down and restore functionality. This hands-on role involves diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, and creating comprehensive documentation for long-term stability.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve issues within a Django application to bring it back online.
• Review, understand, and analyze the existing codebase to identify root causes of application downtime.
• Implement coding solutions efficiently, ensuring best practices in Python and Django.
• Create detailed technical documentation of the codebase and remediation process to assist future maintenance.
• Work independently to troubleshoot and solve complex problems, maintaining strong communication with team members for updates on progress.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development with strong expertise in Django.
• Proven track record of remediating or debugging Django applications and restoring them to production status.
• Deep understanding of Django ORM, middleware, views, forms, API calls, and templating systems.
• Familiarity with implementing data security and data protection.
• Solid knowledge of database management (e.g., SQL Server) and writing optimized queries within Django.
