Project Summary The Senior Developer with Analytics will lead the design and implementation of advanced data analytics and processing solutions supporting law enforcement missions. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and direct client engagement. Key Responsibilities * Architect and develop scalable, high-performance analytics and data processing systems
* Design and optimize complex database queries and data pipelines
* Perform data migration, preparation, modeling, and indexing for analytics platforms
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated data solutions
* Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices
* Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present technical solutions
* Contribute to written deliverables and technical documentation
Required For This Opportunity * U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DHS 6C Public Trust clearance
* Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year focused on analytics
* Strong experience with: * Python (including data science libraries)
* SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle)
* Data warehouses and data lakes
* Apache Spark and Databricks
* Elasticsearch
* Ability to work onsite in Crystal City, VA 1-2 days per week
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills * Experience mentoring or leading technical teams
* Prior experience supporting government or mission-critical environments
