Job Title: Sr AWS Developer
Location: St Louis, MO - Remote Start
Duration: 6+ Months Contract then Permanent Hire - C2H
Visa: US Citizen /Green Card, Permanent Resident / EAD with no VISA Sponsorship requirement in the future.

Experience: 10+ Years
Job description:
  • Experience with the core AWS services (EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Cloud Watch, Cloud Monitor, IAM, Lambda, Kinesis).
  • Good background in Linux/Unix administration and Ability to spin off new instances.
  • VPC/networking experience is a huge plus
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used {{ ECS or EKS}} in the past is optional.
  • Proficiency in at least one language from our stack: Java/Python/Scala
  • Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
  • Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
  • Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM).
  • Ability to use the AWS service APIs, AWS CLI, and SDKs to write applications
  • Ability to write code using AWS security best practices
