What we do at Weir
We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet's future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact
You'll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You'll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that's through engineering, planning or customer support. You'll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.

What you'll do

  • Business Engagement & Analysis:Engage closely with Supply Chain product domain teams to understand and analyze their data and analytics needs, current operations, and desired outcomes. Translate these into clear business requirements and future state solutions.

  • Solution Definition & Delivery:Define and describe the "what, why, and how" of data and analytics capabilities, creating epics, user stories, and other assets for architects and engineers to implement. Ensure solutions meet business goals and deliver measurable value.

  • Collaboration & Communication:Act as the key interface between business stakeholders (including director level and above) and technical teams, fostering strong relationships and clear communication. Champion data-driven decision-making and strategic thinking.

  • Agile Execution & Product Support:Participate in the full product lifecycle from ideation through deployment using a scaled agile approach. Support Agile planning, product roadmap management, and risk assessment. Maintain the data platform catalog and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Technology & Tools:Utilize and support tools such as Power BI (deep expertise preferred), Tableau, SAP (especially SAP HANA), and Microsoft technology stack. Understand ERP data flows and source-to-target mapping to enable effective analytics solutions.

  • Safety First:Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you'll bring

Must-haves:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or related disciplines, ideally with exposure to Supply Chain or Manufacturing environments.

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with data engineering concepts and tools, including data bricks and data fabric technologies.

  • Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks and product lifecycle management.

  • Background in consulting or roles requiring problem-solving using data to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience working in international and multicultural teams.
