Home Instead Business Development Manager Job Description Klipsch Senior Care, LLC. d/b/a Home Instead

The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring achievement of revenue objectives for their service area. Revenue is generated from a variety of sales and marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing referral sources. This position reports results in moving relationships forward to the General Manager of the franchise location on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in sales/marketing/networking areas. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development while maintaining a strong relationship with the local franchise operations team.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Reflect the core values of Klipsch Senior Care, LLC. d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise.
  • Research and develop the Referral Provider Network, producing referrals; perform all phases of the consultative sales process, including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, diagnosis of referral source and client needs, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead services and additional community resources, and maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts with follow-up as necessary.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for the assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, rehabilitation centers, and similar organizations.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans in conjunction with Home Instead franchise leadership, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Home Instead brand and effectively present Home Instead marketing materials and services to referral providers, including oneโ€‘onโ€‘one meetings and formal group presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activitiesโ€”sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and followโ€‘up activitiesโ€”within the assigned territory, using software to maximize territory potential.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through faceโ€‘toโ€‘face cold calling, email, telephone, and web outreach.
  • Conduct service inquiries and care consultations as needed following the consultative sales process.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects, and coโ€‘workers.
  • Conduct the initial client/care professional introduction.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality assurance visits with clients as needed.
  • Participate in various PR strategies.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • College degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus).
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license.
