We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of our Critical Access Hospital. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and sustainability of a vital healthcare facility dedicated to serving our community. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in healthcare finance, leadership, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the hospital's fiscal integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the hospital’s mission and operational goals
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and present findings to executive leadership and board of directors
- Oversee Revenue Cycle and reimbursement processes to maximize billing efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and optimize financial resources
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support cost containment and revenue enhancement initiatives

- The Shift Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our hospital facilities and grounds. This position is responsible for day to day maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance across the hospital campus, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and fully functional environment of care.
- We are seeking a versatile, hands-on professional who can work independently and handle a wide range of maintenance tasks. By maintaining accurate records and reporting on equipment status, the Shift Engineer helps ensure long-term facility reliability and supports operational excellence throughout the hospital.
- Perform light electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, sheetrock and carpentry repairs, painting, and surface repairs.
- Carry out routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and system calibrations.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and hospital teams to prioritize and complete repair work efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards during all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore normal operations.
