Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.
The work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite
This role is contributing to the the Electrification Services Division in Cheonan, South Korea.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.

  • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.

  • Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as quality standards.

  • Preparing all documents and customer reports to be signed by the customer representative.


Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 0 - 2 years experience of MV&LV switchgear, protection relay, circuit breaker

  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Electrical Engineer License, Electrical Construction Engineer License)

  • Experience in Switchgear, protection relay and circuit breaker testing preferred

  • Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and fluency in Korean

  • A pre-employment medical checkup is required, and employment is contingent upon meeting the medical requirements.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (60-80%) and hold a valid driver's license.
