Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Maximo 9.2 Data Migration Lead in Armonk, NY. We are looking to identify qualified candidates for a Data Migration Lead role supporting a large-scale IBM Maximo 9.2 implementation.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead the end-to-end data migration and data conversion workstream for an IBM Maximo 9.2 implementation
* Design and oversee extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to migrate data from legacy Asset Management, Work Management, ERP, GIS, and related operational systems into IBM Maximo
* Develop data migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, data quality plans, reconciliation processes, mock conversion activities, and production cutover plans
REQUIREMENTS:
* Senior-level candidates with a strong combination of leadership, client-facing consulting experience, and hands-on data migration expertise
* Possess strong knowledge of IBM Maximo data structures, including Assets, Locations, Work Orders, PMs, Inventory, Labor, and related master data
* Have hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other enterprise ETL/data integration technologies
Leadership and Communication Skills:
This is not simply a technical ETL lead position. We are specifically seeking candidates who have:
* Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience leading workshops with business and technical stakeholders
* Proven ability to communicate migration strategy, status, risks, and issues to program leadership and executive stakeholders
* Experience driving decisions, facilitating data mapping sessions, and obtaining business signoff on migration deliverables
* A consulting mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility with client teams
Offshore Team Management:
Candidates must also have demonstrated experience:
* Managing offshore ETL developers, data engineers, and migration analysts
* Leading geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
* Reviewing technical designs, mappings, ETL code, and migration deliverables
* Coordinating delivery activities between onshore business teams and offshore development organizations
* Managing work planning, quality assurance, issue resolution, and delivery governance
Preferred Industry Experience:
* IBM Maximo or Maximo Application Suite (MAS)
* Utility, Energy, Transmission and Distribution, or other asset-intensive industries
* Large-scale enterprise transformation programs
* SAP, GIS (Esri), Work Management, Asset Management, or ERP integrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
