About the Role
As a Senior Facets Data Migration Business Analyst, you will make an impact by driving successful healthcare data migration initiatives that enable clients to modernize their core business operations and maximize the value of their TriZetto Facets platform investments. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Platform Consulting team and work collaboratively with client business leaders, technical teams, data migration specialists, and project stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
If you're passionate about healthcare technology, data transformation, and solving complex business challenges, this role offers an opportunity to lead critical migration efforts that directly impact membership, claims, billing, and enrollment operations.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of data migration functional designs, ensuring alignment with project objectives, scope, and client requirements.
  • Facilitate data migration mapping workshops and serve as the primary liaison between client business teams, IT stakeholders, and delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain data mapping documentation for Membership, Enrollment, Claims, Billing, Rates, and Accumulator data migration activities.
  • Analyze, profile, and validate legacy data, extracts, and cross-reference files to support successful migration outcomes.
  • Manage data migration risks, issues, action items, and client approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with technical teams and client stakeholders to support unit testing, data validation, defect management, and production readiness activities.
  • Research and resolve data-related issues identified during Client Validation, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Mock Go-Lives, and Production deployments.
  • Collaborate with project leadership and PMO teams to provide status updates, communicate risks, and ensure successful delivery milestones.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working with TriZetto Facets, including data migration, configuration, data models, or batch processing.
  • 4+ years of healthcare industry experience serving as a Business Analyst on large-scale implementation or transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare payer operations, including Membership, Enrollment, Claims, Billing, Rates, and Accumulator data.
  • Hands-on experience with data migration methodologies, including data mapping, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Experience working with Oracle, SQL, and data analysis tools to support migration and conversion initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
