Job description

Ramos CS, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is actively hiring a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager serves as the Airport Authority's lead representative in managing selected Contractors and Design-Builders across all phases of project delivery, from design and pre-construction through construction and commissioning. Operating at both the project and program level, Sr. PM exercises strategic oversight of interdependent project teams, aligns execution with the Airport Authority's overarching organizational goals, and serves as a decisive point of accountability for schedule, budget, risk, and program-wide performance on behalf of the Airport Authority.

  • Take the lead in managing selected Contractors and Design-Builders through design, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure the timely submission and review of all Airport Authority required deliverables across all active project phases.
  • Apply specialized expertise in aviation project delivery to anticipate operational constraints, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder sensitivities unique to airport environments.
  • Establish and maintain project governance structures, decision-making frameworks, and escalation protocols.
  • Drive accountability across project teams for scope, schedule, and budget performance.
  • Oversee fulfillment of the Airport Authority's overarching organizational goals by coordinating activities and interdependencies between multiple project teams.
  • Maintain strategic focus on the delivery of the overall program, not just individual projects.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for project and program progress, resource utilization, budgets, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify program-level risks early and lead the development of mitigation strategies before impacts materialize.
  • Ensure alignment between individual project milestones and overarching program objectives.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with Airport Authority leadership and project team leaders to review progress and address emerging issues.
  • Take appropriate corrective actions to maintain project performance, including resource realignment, schedule recovery efforts, and escalation of significant issues.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Airport Authority leadership on program status, forecasts, and strategic options.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination to resolve interface conflicts, resource constraints, and schedule dependencies.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise program status reports and executive briefings.
  • Maintain and update the integrated master program schedule, ensuring all project timelines are aligned and dependencies tracked.
  • Monitor budget performance at both the project and program level; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning across the program; maintain a live risk and opportunity register.
  • Analyze the impact of changes, changed conditions, and unforeseen events on program cost and schedule.
  • Coordinate change management processes across contractors and design-builders to ensure controlled scope evolution.
  • Ensure all project teams adhere to the Airport Authority's quality, safety, OEHS, and MMRP requirements throughout all phases.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Manager and other program professionals to maintain consistent quality standards across all contracts.
  • Support regulatory inspections, permitting, and authority approvals as required for project advancement and facility occupancy.
  • Confirm that all Airport Authority, required documentation, certifications, and closeout requirements are fulfilled prior to turnover.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • 20 or more years of Construction Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience on major airport projects or capital improvement programs valued at $1B or greater.
  • Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $250,000 to $275,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
