What You’ll Do

The Project Engineer supports manufacturing operations by planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This role works cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with operational goals.

Responsibilities (Including other duties as assigned)

  • Lead and manage manufacturing engineering projects from concept through implementation
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Support process improvements, equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgrades
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth project execution
  • Create andmaintainengineering documentation, specifications, and standard work
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers
  • Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and results to stakeholders

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related field)
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience managing engineering or capital projects
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, andtooling
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
  • Experience with automation, assembly processes, or equipment validation
