Keeley Construction is looking to hire an Senior Project Manager for our Industrial Manufacturing Group in St. Louis, MO.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple project teams and plan/schedule multiple projects. Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Balance time between projects, estimating, and business development.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and other team members.
  • Oversee project engineers, assistant project managers, project managers, and field staff. Takeenior p responsibility for growing and guiding their team's growth within their roles. Opinions and advice of the senior project manager are sought out to overcome challenges and constructability.
  • Partakes in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
  • Maintain all profit and performance responsibility on projects. Strong financial and resource management skills to forecast project costs, subcontractor outcomes, and identify and rectify potential and actual risks associated with their projects.
  • Manages the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors.
  • Responsible for all contracts & subcontractor/vendor roles associated with their projects.
  • Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations.
  • Participate in strategic planning for Business Unit/Region.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of eight years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
  • Background of technical skills and understanding of excavation, utilities, wastewater, and earthwork methods.
  • Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
