Job description

The Global Entity Expansion and Restructure team is the centralized accounting function responsible for the program management for legal entity formation, restructure and closure. The team sets processes and standards in support of the diligence, document preparation and leadership approval of these corporate projects. In this capacity, our program managers work across stakeholder global stakeholders, including various Businesses, Tax, Legal, FinOps, Treasury, HR and Accounting ensuring controllership, consistency and visibility of critical corporate projects.

Acting as a program manager, you will serve as an advisor and guide to the business teams and own the transaction approval work-stream for director review.
This position will be responsible for supporting global entity formation, restructure projects across a wide range of business teams. Working with cross-department business leaders and functional accounting teams to ensure a seamless process through proposal, approval and financial system set-up. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, manage through ambiguity and complexity while supporting multiple, simultaneous project launches impacting the global organization

This role requires excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to senior leadership. Experience should cover financial processes, project management, accounting conclusion documentation, and process design.


Job Responsibilities
Work independently to lead projects to support Amazon's corporate structure to ensure appropriate business support and controllership.
Responsible for delivery of complex cross functional projects
Prioritize work for global project teams, monitoring transactions to ensure standards are maintained.
Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership, along with clear recommendations for resolution or mitigation.


Manage risks across disparate business functions, driving mitigation and resolution.
Build relationships across multiple teams within Amazon to foster a collaborative and productive working relationship.
The role includes a wide variety of opportunities working cross functionally on global business launches for Amazon's products, influencing strategic and communicating with senior leadership both within and outside of accounting.
