Job Summary:
HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking a Senior Health Intelligence Programmer. This role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining core data processing platforms, creating data models for actionable reporting, and managing reporting applications for efficient data extraction.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Responsible for designing, developing reports, analyzing raw data and identifying data and report discrepancies and deploying Enterprise and External Client grade critical Reports.
โ€ข Responsible for administering, configuring, managing and monitoring reporting platforms, security, processes, identifying and troubleshooting issues, managing upgrades.
โ€ข Responsible for managing report security, access, archival, retention, assistance in audits.
โ€ข Collaborate with various function teams such as operations, marketing, research, and IT to achieve business results.
โ€ข Prepare accurate and relevant reports that provide insight regarding key points for leadership and clients.
โ€ข Able to independently profile data and test output and, produce support documentation.
โ€ข Research data discrepancies, performance and troubleshoots SQL Code, underlying transformations, SSIS Packages, views, stored procedures.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Requires a bachelorโ€™s degree and 4-5 years of relative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
โ€ข Requires High proficiency in SQL, well-developed analytical skills especially in Database.
โ€ข Requires High proficiency in Cognos Reporting Tool, Framework Manager and Cognos Server Administration. Additional tools preferred - SSRS, Power BI, Tableau
โ€ข Requires experience in data architecture, data modeling and performance tuning
โ€ข Requires High Proficiency with tools โ€“ Toad, DBeaver, Workbench, SSMS, SSAS, SSIS
โ€ข Requires Proficiency in Story Telling via Data Visualization and User Experience Design.
โ€ข Requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
โ€ข Experience in working on Data Warehouse or similar data repository environments.
โ€ข Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
Preferred:
โ€ข Master's degree preferred
โ€ข General knowledge of business operations, programs, outcomes, system inputs and outputs to support accurate reports to clients.
โ€ข Prior experience working with healthcare claims, utilization / case management data
