Job description

Electrical Engineer – Senior Technical

Our growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to provide senior engineering design and project management for photovoltaic projects, both land-based and roof-mounted.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license and have 8+ years of experience in electrical design, along with the ability to perform detailed design and complex engineering analysis.

The scope of this role is both technical and strategic, requiring deep knowledge of electrical systems and design principles, as well as the ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively with clients and other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical aspects of building systems and design projects.

  • Perform detailed design calculations, including engineering loads and complex analysis.

  • Manage drawing lists, project sheets, and system design.

  • Review and verify drawings for accuracy.

  • Conduct site investigations.

  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff on all technical aspects of design.

Required Experience:

  • Education: PE License.

  • Experience: 8+ years in electrical design.

  • Preferred Experience: Working on photovoltaic projects.

  • Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and design.
  • Ability to perform detailed design calculations and complex engineering analysis.
