Job description

Come build the version of reverse logistics that doesnโ€™t need us. Every day, Amazon Shipping customers hand us packages and Counters stores hand us returns. Every one of those pickups is a promise. When that promise is at risk Reverse Logistics and Driver Support (ROADS) is the team that catches it. Weโ€™re good at catching. We need a Sr. Program Manager to help us build for the day we donโ€™t have to.

ROADS is the centralized layer that protects reverse logistics performance across Ship with Amazon (SWA) and Counters Returns. We own real-time intervention, resolve escalations end to end, and โ€” this is the part that matters โ€” we build the mechanisms that make those interventions unnecessary.

In this role you will:
  • Own outcomes, not status decks.
  • Launch, not inherit.
  • Automate what you touch.
  • Have real cross-functional influence.

Up to 10% travel may be required.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
  • Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
  • Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
  • Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 2+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
  • 2+ years of change management experience
  • Knowledge of general AI tools
  • 2+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Masterโ€™s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
