Job description

Overview

Bowhead is excited to announce our return to PMA275, supporting the V22 Osprey through the newly awarded Program/Project Management Technical Support Services contract. We are hiring a Senior Program Analyst to help drive mission readiness, modernization, and disciplined program execution for one of naval aviation's most versatile platforms. Responsibilities
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.ย 
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.ย 
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.ย 
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.ย 
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • MA/MS* degree with over 8 years of experience performing duties described in the responsibilities.ย 

  • *Allowable Substitutions: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) additional years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience, or Six (6) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Desired Experience: ACAT-1 rotary-wing and/or turbo-prop aircraft mission readiness management experience. Proficient with using the AMS. Familiar with ACAT level programs. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to PPBES. Demonstrated experience managing program/project status, schedules, SOW and CDRLs.ย 

  • Experience supporting PMA-275, V22 is preferred.ย 
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.ย  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check.ย  Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required.ย  Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.ย
