Job description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to provide senior-level analytical, strategic, and programmatic support . The position supports Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) initiatives, Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) programs, and related threat reduction and arms control activities. The Senior Program Analyst serves as a subject matter expert responsible for conducting complex analyses, developing policy recommendations, evaluating program performance, supporting acquisition management activities, and providing executive-level advisory services.

The incumbent applies advanced analytical methodologies to assess cost, schedule, performance, operational, and strategic issues affecting nuclear deterrence, chemical and biological defense programs, and global cooperative threat reduction efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Support oversight of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) programs and initiatives. * Conduct complex assessments, evaluations, and analyses supporting arms control, CWMD capabilities, and Cooperative Threat Reduction programs.

* Analyze programmatic , operational, acquisition, budgetary, and strategic issues affecting CBRN mission areas. * Develop and apply analytical methodologies to evaluate program effectiveness, performance metrics, risks, and mission outcomes. * Provide recommendations to senior government leadership regarding program improvements, strategic direction, and resource allocation.

* Evaluate cost, schedule, and performance parameters associated with assigned programs and initiatives. * Support development, implementation, interpretation, and assessment of policies, directives, and strategic guidance. * Analyze global threat reduction activities and provide recommendations regarding emerging threats and risk mitigation strategies.

* Support planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to cooperative threat reduction programs. * Assist in developing executive briefings, white papers, decision memoranda, and strategic assessments related to threat reduction and arms control issues. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, management, public policy, international relations, national security studies, political science, business administration, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

* Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance. * Extensive experience conducting assessments, analyses, and evaluations within a government, military, national security, or defense environment. * Demonstrated experience developing and applying advanced analytical methodologies and principles.

* Experience supporting programs involving cost, schedule, and performance management. * Ability to lead analytical efforts and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefing experience.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in a relevant discipline. * Ten (10) or more years of experience supporting Department of War , national security, arms control, threat reduction, treaty management, CWMD, acquisition, or related programs.

* Experience supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of War , Combatant Commands, or other national security organizations. * Knowledge of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) programs and global threat reduction initiatives. * Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.

* Experience supporting executive-level policy development and strategic planning activities.
