Job description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking Chemical Production Operators for a high-purity chemical manufacturing client. In this role, you'll learn and perform essential production tasks alongside experienced operators and supervisors, gaining hands-on training, certifications, and a path to grow your manufacturing career. Pay & Schedule

Pay: $23.00–$26/hour DOE

    • Day Shift: 6AM-4:30PM SUN-WED or WED-SAT - $1 differential for weekend day

    • Night Shift: 4PM-2:30AM SUN-WED or WED-SAT $2 differential

Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely don and doff cleanroom attire and PPE

  • Operate pallet jacks and overhead cranes (certification provided)

  • Label, package, and inspect drums

  • Prepare, wash, and fill drums with high-purity chemicals

  • Calibrate tools and prepare filling equipment for use

  • Maintain accurate digital records in the inventory system

  • Arrive on time and participate in passdown meetings

  • Follow assignments from senior operators and shift leads

  • Maintain housekeeping and clean production work areas daily

  • Follow all safety procedures without exception

  • Stop work and alert team members if unsafe conditions are found

  • Maintain respirator and HAZWOPER certifications

  • Participate in daily safety shares and required training

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cleanroom protocols

  • Wear required cleanroom attire in designated areas

  • Report and assist in resolving quality issues

  • Participate in daily quality shares and root cause investigations

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

  • Basic math skills (with calculator)

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work in PPE, including respirator and cleanroom gear as needed

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in industrial environments

  • Pre employment drug screen (and respirator physical)

  • Background check

  • 2 professional references

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience (manufacturing, warehousing, or customer service)

  • Basic chemistry knowledge (high school level)
