About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Senior Procurement Manager - HR, Facilities & Workplace Services and are actively reviewing applications.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager - HR, Facilities & Workplace Services to lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across Human Resources, Facilities, and Workplace Services for our North American business. Reporting to the Head of General Procurement, North America, you will develop and execute procurement strategies that drive cost optimization, supplier performance, risk mitigation, innovation, and operational excellence.

In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with HR, Facilities, Workplace Management, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to deliver value through strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation initiatives. You will lead complex negotiations, optimize supplier portfolios, and ensure alignment between procurement strategies and evolving business priorities.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in indirect procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, contract negotiations, spend analytics, and stakeholder engagement within a global, complex, matrixed organization.

This hybrid role is based at Ferrero's North American headquarters in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
    • Develop and execute category strategies for assigned indirect procurement categories, including HR, Facilities, and Workplace Services, aligned to business objectives and procurement priorities.
    • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver cost optimization, service improvements, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and working capital benefits.
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities through spend analytics, supplier consolidation, regional sourcing strategies, and category optimization.
    • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing dynamics, and industry innovations to inform procurement strategy and sourcing decisions.
    Supplier Relationship & Contract Management
    • Lead complex supplier negotiations, including RFI, RFQ, contract negotiations, rate card development, and commercial agreements to maximize total cost of ownership (TCO) and business value.
    • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships through supplier segmentation, performance management, business reviews, KPI tracking, and SLA governance.
    • Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, risk profiles, and performance to ensure a resilient and high-performing supplier portfolio.
    • Drive supplier performance management initiatives that improve service levels, innovation, compliance, and long-term value creation.
    Stakeholder Partnership & Business Engagement
    • Partner closely with HR, Facilities, Workplace Management, Finance, Legal, and other business stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and develop sourcing solutions that support organizational goals.
    • Serve as a trusted procurement advisor, influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of sourcing strategies, preferred suppliers, and negotiated contracts.
    • Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to align category strategies, share best practices, and support enterprise-wide procurement initiatives.
    Procurement Operations & Value Delivery
    • Manage contract lifecycle activities, ensuring robust contract coverage, compliance, utilization, and ongoing supplier governance.
    • Track and report procurement savings, cost avoidance, value creation, operational efficiencies, and other key performance metrics against annual objectives.
    • Support purchase order management, vendor master data management, and source-to-pay process excellence initiatives as required.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, risk management standards, and corporate governance requirements.
    Procurement Transformation & Governance
    • Support procurement transformation efforts by implementing best practices, standardizing sourcing processes, and driving operational excellence across North America.
    • Champion procurement governance, policy compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement effectiveness and business partnership.
    • Promote collaboration, innovation, and strategic value creation across procurement, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
About You:

Business Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement
  • Mastery of purchasing techniques: 7 steps process,  procurement category management, vendor segmentation, negotiating skills, RFI, RFQ, budgeting, market analysis, risk management, price management
  • Strong knowledge of advanced analysis in Excel (eg. vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is preferred.
  • Experience in a cross cultural/international organization is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Legal or similar)
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Professional Certification (CPM, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, CIPS, and similar) is preferred.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge in the categories preferred.
  • Able to effectively communicate and to implement change with internal budget owners, peers, senior management and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure; multi-tasker; manages time effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail.

The base salary range for this position is $122,854.00 - $163,806.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
