Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Process Technician. This is a night shift role after completing training onsite for day shift. Front end nights
Responsibilities:
* Process Technicians assist senior engineers and technologists in developing processes on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment
* Execute passdowns from engineers which includes following a set of instructions, preparing FOUPS, running experiments and submitting wafers for metrology; Submission wafers for SEM work, retrieval of coupons post SEM work and verification of zero loss of material
* Daily passdown summaries and feedback to engineering; Good communication skills and able to notify process engineers with issues with passdowns and execute revised passdowns once errors are recovered
* Comfort with learning equipment software and process recipe structure; Basic troubleshooting of equipment issues and clearing of errors to continue passdowns or submit service requests for equipment maintenance
* Housekeeping of the work areas being worked at: submitting new wafers for pre-metrology and used wafers for reclaim
* Exporting data from equipment and metrology tools depositing in a database
REQUIREMENTS:
* BA degree in Science or related field is Desired but not required
* Basic Microsoft Office experience
* Experience with metrology tools (process tools are very different - don't expect to have experience on what we have)
* Ability to learn quickly (any examples of how they picked up skills in past
* Training experinece would be helpful
* Basic knowledge of windows operating system and Microsoft office tools
Experience with:
* Wafers handling
* Clear passdowns - what is done and not
* Deposition Processing or Etch processing
* Metrology Tools; Onto nice to have
* Lam Process Tools or Novellus tools are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
