Job description

Harrison Gray Search is proud to partner with a premier global investment management firm to identify a high-caliber Senior Administrative Associate. Our client is a leader in the private wealth space, known for its sophisticated research, innovative modeling, and commitment to delivering holistic financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals. This is a hybrid role in Manhattan with a four-day-a-week in-office expectation.
The Opportunity: Who You'll Work With
In this role, you aren't just providing support; you are a trusted business partner. You will work directly with Senior Executives, Wealth Advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business priorities across a world-class Private Wealth Management platform. This is a dynamic environment where you will enable informed decision-making and ensure disciplined execution for both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Administrative Associate, you will provide high-level administrative, operational, and project support. This role requires exceptional judgment, critical thinking, and the proactive ability to stay three steps ahead of business needs.
Strategic Partnership & Executive Support

  • Priority Management: Partner with senior leaders to proactively manage calendars, anticipate needs, and maximize executive productivity.
  • Logistics & Travel: Oversee complex, multi-city travel and logistics with total accuracy and discretion.
  • High-Stakes Meetings: Coordinate internal and external events, preparing agendas, synthesizing materials, and driving follow-up on action items.
Operations & Project Leadership
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional initiatives, tracking milestones and ensuring timely delivery of complex workstreams.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Conduct independent research, prepare high-quality presentations for management reviews, and maintain critical spreadsheets or operational documentation.
  • Business Liaison: Act as a central point of contact across departments (Legal, Compliance, HR, Tech) to facilitate information flow and interpret firm policies.
Leadership & Excellence
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior administrative staff, fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and critical matters with the highest degree of integrity and professional "vault-like" discretion.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Education
  • Tenure: 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in executive support or business operations, ideally within investment management, legal, or professional services.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant high-level experience).
  • Track Record: Proven success supporting senior-level leaders and managing high-visibility responsibilities independently.
Skills & Competencies
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written skills; you are comfortable interacting with sophisticated stakeholders and external partners.
  • Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Salesforce or advanced collaboration tools is highly preferred.
  • Agility: A "no task too big or small" mentality with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits
Our client believes in investing in their people and fostering a culture of growth.
  • Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (Actual salary based on experience, training, and performance).
  • Total Rewards: Eligibility for year-end incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Retirement: Robust plans with matching employer contributions.
  • Wellness: Holistic health and wellness support for you and your family.
  • Flexibility: A hybrid work model designed to support modern work-life balance.
