The FS Employment Project must have a backend process to extract the eligible cases for employment assessment by the vendor and has to be processed and the outcome has to be logged. Depending upon the business rules, the case will to be updated in WMS so that the case can be sanctioned or closed. The information on FSE will be shared with POS and NYCWAY via web services if needed. The position is needed for the implementation of streamlining enhancements requested by FIA due to the increased workload experienced over the past several months.
Tasks & Duties
• Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards.
• Provide general programming assistance to other MIS programmers/projects as needed. Also, have the ability to work independently with minimal assistant.
• Provide assistance to MIS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves.
• Contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem.
• Perform System Design/Coding
