You will serve as a FLIGHT TEST SPECIALIST in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN & LABS GROUP, POINT MUGU SEA RANGE DEPT, SEA RANGE OPERATIONS DIV, SR TEST OPS BR / TEST OPS SEC of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties
Help
  • You will provide support for air-to-air, air-to-surface, surface-to-air, and surface-to-surface weapons system projects.
  • You will provide expert communication and problem-solving abilities to address program needs promptly and professionally.
  • You will coordinate all aspects of operational testing for concurrent complex programs requiring multiple ships, aircraft, missiles and range assets or combination thereof.
  • Yow will translate engineering test objectives into complex operational procedures.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DS-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following: 1. Providing support for air-to-air, air-to-surface, surface-to-air, and surface-to-surface weapons system projects; 2. Providing expert communication and problem-solving abilities to address flight test program needs; 3. Developing operational concepts and scenarios for test and evaluation of weapons systems; 4. Applying operational concepts to weapon systems/flight operations projects.
