Job description

Role: Platform Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ month

Face to Face interview for just meet and greet only, First round will be video technical

About the Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you are a hands-on technical owner responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving GitLab SaaS, Terraform Cloud and CICD Automation at enterprise scale. You partner closely with internal platform, security, and product teams to deliver resilient DevOps capabilities while embedding AI-assisted workflows into all aspects of platform engineering and software delivery.

Must have:

  • Manage Gitlab Platform (SaaS) and Terraform Cloud including internal infrastructure
  • This is a migration into GitLab from Azure; they want some exposure.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage Gitlab Platform (SaaS) and Terraform Cloud including internal infrastructure and automation to meet scalability, reliability and modernization objectives in compliance with SSDLC and Security standards
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, runners, templates, and shared components
  • Develop, maintain and evangelize IaC by building modules, guardrails, policy as code, and additional automation and integrations with Enterprise Platforms
  • Integrate AI-assisted capabilities into CI/CD, code review, incident response, and operational workflows
  • Promote responsible and governed use of AI tooling aligned with enterprise AI standards
