Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Senior is responsible for delivery of end-to-end application and system development and maintenance on complex, multi-technology platforms within the assigned client group, business unit, or corporate department, utilizing various customer and cloud-based technology platforms.
How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements-gathering meetings.
  • Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
  • Provides technical advice and contributes to decisions that impact cross-functional teams.
  • Researches and proposes new technologies, including cloud solutions, microservices, and API integrations, to enhance system performance and scalability.
  • Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains microservices and REST APIs to integrate with other systems and databases.
  • Supports the setup of cloud infrastructure using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, implements performance improvements such as caching and code optimization, and supports application testing and validation during various phases of system, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Performs code analysis, technical design, and code reviews to ensure testing activities are completed according to plan, including unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Provides on-call support, ensures effective system monitoring, and maintains the technical development environment to ensure operational reliability.
  • Mentor others and may lead multiple or small to medium-sized projects.
  • Begins to set direction at the project or service level and influences decision-making.
  • Provides technical guidance, communicates standards, and facilitates group sessions to clarify requirements, review designs, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Supports vendor evaluations and contributes to continuous improvement in development practices and architecture.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of related experience.

Experience Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of related experience must include:
    • multi-dimensional platform experience;
    • expert-level experience with business and technical applications;
    • One (1) year of experience with NodeJS;
    • Three (3) years of experience with Python;
    • Three (3) years of experience with Linux;
    • One (1) year of experience with SQL;
    • One (1) year of experience with Redis cache or similar;
    • One (1) year of experience with AWS/Azure;
    • One (1) year of experience with Kubernetes/Docker;
    • Three (3) years of experience with Terraform;
    • Three (3) years of experience with Splunk; and
    • One (1) year of experience with Datadog.

Alternate Education / Experience Requirements:
  • Employer will accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field of study, and three (3) years of related experience. Must have skills listed above.
