As a Senior Electrical Engineer for Buildings based in Victoria, BC, you will shape the systems that power the places where people learn, heal, gather, and thrive. Your expertise will help deliver resilient, efficient, and futureready building environments across Vancouver Island and beyond.

Your Impact
  • Design and deliver electrical building systems for commercial, institutional, civic, and mixeduse facilities.
  • Lead power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, lifesafety, and lowvoltage system designs from concept to construction.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural teams, and other disciplines to create integrated solutions.
  • Guide feasibility studies, code reviews, engineering reports, and technical evaluations.
  • Apply advanced modeling and analysis tools to enhance performance and sustainability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technologists, supporting their growth through handson project involvement.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure delivery of highquality, costeffective engineering solutions.
  • Contribute strategic technical leadership to proposals, project planning, and design standards development.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • You bring extensive experience in building electrical engineering, ideally including healthcare, education, commercial, or complex institutional facilities.
  • You hold (or can obtain) P.Eng. registration in British Columbia.
  • You are fluent with tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, lighting calculation software, and power system analysis platforms.
  • You excel at solving realworld engineering challenges, balancing technical excellence with constructability and client needs.
  • You thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments and bring a proactive, solutionsoriented mindset.

Compensation
Compensation:
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 - $151,800
  • MB & ON: $104,500 - $143,900
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $97,400 - $131,200
