DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. We're looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer like you to develop critical tools and get them into the hands of those who need them most.
As a lead DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll oversee a team as they streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create. You'll guide the team as they implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • 10+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning
  • 10+ years of experience with configuration management tools
  • 10+ years of experience designing, automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab CI or Github actions
  • Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions and hosting applications on commercial cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience containerizing and orchestrating workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience integrating automated security checks into CI/CD pipelines such as SAST, SCA, or image scanning
  • Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and mentoring employees within a collaborative team environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
