About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to support complex corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and insurance-related legal functions within a highly regulated environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with extensive experience supporting insurance operations, regulatory filings, and board governance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file corporate and regulatory documents with agencies including Departments of Insurance and Secretaries of State.
  • Draft, review, and coordinate board of directors and committee materials, resolutions, certifications, and related corporate governance documentation.
  • Conduct legal, corporate, and regulatory research and prepare concise summaries and reports.
  • Prepare and submit SEC Section 16 filings, including Forms ID, 3, 4, and 5.
  • Manage NYSE filings and submissions through Filing Manager.
  • Prepare foreign regulatory filings and related questionnaires.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure timely completion of regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience, preferably within insurance, regulatory, or corporate legal environments.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and filing documents with insurance regulators and government agencies.
  • Experience supporting board of directors and committee governance activities.
  • Experience handling UCAA applications.
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulatory processes and filing requirements.
  • Experience with legal research, corporate records management, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Familiarity with EdgarNext and NYSE Filing Manager platforms preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
