Develop complete control panel schematic, layout and BOM using EPLAN
Select appropriate control panel components including connectors, wire harnesses, branch circuit protection devices (breakers, fuses), and power conversion devices (drives, transformers, rectifiers)
Select components rated for 600V AC and 2000V DC high-voltage applications
Work directly with third-party panel vendors to translate design intent into built assemblies. Execute and oversee high-voltage testing procedures including hipot, insulation resistance, and functional validation
Collaborate with mechanical engineers on panel enclosure selection, thermal management, and physical integration
Support DFMEA activities for panel-level failure mode identification and risk mitigation
QualificationsÂ
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
