Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Engineer / Oracle SQL-PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, MS SQL Server, database design, and performance tuning and a proven ability to design, develop, review, and optimize database changes within Agile delivery. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and review database changes across enterprise systems. Implement robust SQL and PL/SQL solutions following normalization and data modeling best practices. Conduct performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and use of AWR/ASH/Explain Plan. Collaborate within Agile teams using JIRA to plan and deliver database work. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. Expert-level proficiency with the latest Oracle Database version, including architecture, memory structures, and background processes. Proficiency with TOAD and similar database development tools; experience with OEM. Proven database design and data modeling expertise, including ER diagrams and normalization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication and leadership capabilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with MS SQL Server and MongoDB. Knowledge of shell scripting and Python for database task automation. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Git, and Datical. Background in the financial domain and data security, encryption, and compliance standards. Additional Details: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite. Onsite from day 1. Start month: September or October. Two interview rounds: first video, second in person. This role will not provide sponsorship now or in the future.
