As a Senior Business Manager for Global Product Group, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities, interactions and complex assignments globally related to managing and facilitating key business elements, including strategic and annual business planning, financial management, business management and reporting, while also championing a continuous improvement environment. Role Description

  • Leads and manages the strategic and annual business planning processes for the Global Product Group.

    • Provides leadership in the development of strategic plans. Manages the long-term direction and goal/priority setting process. Ensures alignment and integration of the Global Product Group's broad strategies and other business units' initiatives.

    • Drives and manages the annual goal setting process and outlines the specific near-term objectives/initiatives to support the strategic plan.

    • Continuously and actively monitors and reports on the progress of the strategy against business plans.

  • Provides oversight and ensures compliance with and adherence to the Global Product Group's financial management requirements.

    • Oversees and facilitates the planning, creation and monitoring of the Global Product Group's budget.

    • Partners with Global Finance on business forecasts, resource planning, budgets, and financial reporting packages.

    • Facilitates the dissemination, discussion and understanding of the Global Product Group's financial information.

  • Establishes and manages key oversight and communication processes that enable effective and efficient management of the business.

    • Ensures Global Product Group's senior business leaders are addressing key issues affecting the business in the near- and long-term.

    • Manages, prioritizes, and facilitates the appropriate use of information, measurement, and analytics in business unit decision processes.

    • Ensures business plan initiatives have appropriate prioritization, sponsorship, planning, resourcing, and feedback mechanisms. May manage Global Product Group initiatives related to demand management, organizational design and change management communication initiatives.

    • May manage Global Product Group's risk/compliance processes in partnership with Corporate Legal/Compliance/Finance.

    • Will be responsible for Global Product Group's operational risk management and business continuity processes in partnership with Operational Risk Assessment and Business Continuity.

  • Facilitates and coordinates the relationships and collaboration with other CG business units and shared service units to maximize the opportunities in CG's enterprise model.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $185,107-$314,682

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
