What is a Senior OnBase Developer?

Senior OnBase Developers are experienced IT professionals who specialize in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using the OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) platform by Hyland. Their responsibilities include creating custom workflows, integrating OnBase with other business systems, and optimizing document management processes. They often collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, provide technical leadership, and ensure that solutions meet organizational needs. Senior OnBase Developers typically have several years of experience with the platform and are knowledgeable about its modules, APIs, and best practices.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Senior OnBase Developer?

To thrive as a Senior Onbase Developer, you need expertise in application development, workflow automation, and document management, typically backed by a degree in computer science or a related field. Mastery of Hyland OnBase, integration tools, SQL databases, and relevant OnBase certifications is crucial. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills help you collaborate with stakeholders and deliver effective solutions. These skills ensure the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of efficient content management systems that meet organizational needs.
