Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer for a 9+ month contract. The successful candidate will lead and manage critical network projects, demonstrating expert-level proficiency in Cisco technologies and modern UTM systems to design, deploy, and optimize network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple network projects by providing strategic oversight and technical guidance from design through implementation and troubleshooting.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network equipment, including switches, routers, and voice systems.
• Implement, maintain, and optimize modern UTM solutions and next-generation firewall appliances to safeguard network integrity and data security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with organizational objectives and best practices.
• Develop, document, and enforce network policies and procedures that promote operational excellence and security compliance.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior network staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications:
Required:
• expert-level proficiency in Cisco switching, routing, and voice technologies
• hands-on experience with modern Unified Threat Management (UTM) systems and next-generation firewall/security appliances
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Extensive background in Cisco switching, routing, and voice systems
