We are seeking cleared Senior Network Engineers to design, operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network environments supporting classified and sensitive law enforcement, national security, and criminal justice programs within the National Security Business Unit. The Senior Network Engineer will serve as a technical lead for network availability, performance, security, modernization, documentation, incident response, and lifecycle management across mission-critical network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, encryption devices, secure connectivity, monitoring, and change implementation.
As a Senior Network Engineer you will design, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot secure enterprise network environments supporting law enforcement, national security, and criminal justice programs within the National Security Business Unit. This role supports classified and sensitive network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, encryption devices, network monitoring, connectivity, address management, traffic routing, lab validation, and operational sustainment.
You will also provide technical leadership, mentorship, and account-growth support by identifying network modernization, automation, resiliency, security, and lifecycle improvement opportunities.

  • Maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and operational playbooks.
  • Validate hardware and software changes in lab or controlled environments before production implementation.
  • Respond to network incidents, outages, service requests, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, COMSEC, CDS, application, endpoint, and service desk teams.
  • Mentor network engineers, administrators, service desk escalation teams, and junior technical staff.
  • Identify modernization, automation, resiliency, security enhancement, lifecycle refresh, and expanded service opportunities.

  • 6+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, network monitoring, secure communications, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience maintaining network diagrams, SOPs, baselines, and change documentation.
  • Knowledge of ITSM, incident response, configuration management, and secure network operations.
  • Ability to work across integrated technical teams in mission-critical environments.
