Job description

Senior Network Engineer
Our client, a Virginia state agency, is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join their team, hit the ground running, and help drive to success. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to hire. The employee will work 3 days per week in their downtown office location.
What will you do?
  • Design, install and configure network (Cisco Meraki, Cisco ISE, Cisco SDWAN are a must)
  • Large scale network engineering and support, there are 2,000+ network devices in the environment.
  • Ensures network security with experience setting up firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS, network analytics and packet analysis.

Experience needed:
  • 5-7+ years of routing and switching (Nexus, IOS & IOS-XE, ACI)
  • CCNP certification is ideal
  • Understanding of advanced network and security concepts
  • Experience with ACI, SDWAN, DMVPN
