Job description

Job Title: Senior Network Analyst

Company: Precision Drilling Corporation

Work Arrangements: On-Site

At Precision Drilling, we operate complex, global infrastructure supporting remote operations across North America and the Middle East. We are looking for a Senior Network Analyst to lead the design and evolution of our secure, high-performance network environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep firewall, routing, and switching expertise who wants to work on real-world, business-critical infrastructure-not just maintain it.

CULTURE

Precision Drilling fosters a strong safety culture through our Human Organizational Performance (HOP) approach, focusing on learning, communication, and supporting our people. We invest in career growth through continuous training and development, encourage balance with competitive benefits and generous time off, and foster a team-oriented workplace grounded in integrity and trust. When you join Precision, you join a company that puts people first.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, cloud connectivity)
  • Own and evolve our Fortinet ecosystem (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SASE/ZTNA)
  • Engineer and troubleshoot complex routing, switching and wireless environments (BGP, OSPF, STP)
  • Support hybrid cloud networking (Azure / ExpressRoute) and remote connectivity across field operations
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and lead root cause analysis for complex issues
  • Partner with other IT infrastructure teams, Cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions
  • Participate in on call rotations and occasional travel to field locations while supporting continuous improvement and cost-effective network solutions

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking roles
  • 3+ years of Fortinet firewall and security platform experience
  • Certifications such as NSE4, NSE7 (Fortinet) or CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network design
  • Experience in complex, distributed environments (telecom, remote sites, or industrial/OT is an asset)

WHY JOIN PRECISION DRILLING?

  • Work on large-scale, real-world network challenges across global operations
  • Strong investment in modern network security and cloud connectivity
  • Opportunity to own and influence architecture decisions
  • Collaborative team environment focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement

Drive the network behind critical operations. Apply today and take the lead in shaping the future of energy with a company that values safety, performance, and your potential.
