As a Senior .NET Developer at AccumTech, you will play a key technical leadership role in designing, building, and evolving our backend APIs and microservices platform. You will solve complex, ambiguous problems, make architectural decisions, and mentor other developers while helping drive the technical direction of our products.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys hands‑on development, technical ownership, and helping teams deliver high‑quality software at scale.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Make and defend architectural decisions, balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Break down complex initiatives into well‑defined technical tasks and guide implementation across the team.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid‑level developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Solve complex technical problems and lead debugging efforts in production and non‑production environments.
  • Own technical outcomes for projects, including quality, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.
  • Drive improvements to existing systems, development practices, and engineering standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan and deliver releases.
  • Provide accurate estimates for larger initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
  • Participate in production support and release activities, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience using C#.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server  and PostgreSQL). Familiarity with NoSQL solutions and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern backend patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of complex systems and deliver results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with dependency injection and inversion of control.
  • Strong testing practices, including unit and integration testing.
  • Experience working in agile, fast‑paced development environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI‑powered tools (coding assistants, code analysis, documentation, or testing tools) to improve development efficiency, while applying strong critical thinking and engineering judgment to validate solutions and ensure code quality.
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000.
