Job description

Advanced Health Services, LLC, is hiring a Software Developer, Senior. Individuals in this position are expected to:

       Lead Development Team to design software solutions for complex projects

       Respond to urgent, business critical tasks that require immediate response from supervisor.

       Maintain thorough subject matter expertise, so they can serve as a consultant for Leadership Team.

       Collaborate with Leadership Team to identify needs of business and design solutions for those projects.

       Develop technical specifications for projects.

       Conduct project resource and planning with a high-level analysis

       Serve as a technical resource for mid-level developers on complex projects.

       Lead collaboration with the Service Delivery Team on executing Agile processes and methodologies.

       Participate in the requirements gathering process on assigned work items.

       Mentor lower-level members of the Development Team

Requirements

       Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field

       A minimum of two years' experience with the following technologies. Applicants need not have two years' experience with each technology, but rather a cumulative two years' total with all these technologies combined:

  • Dev-Express control suite;
  • CSLA v3.6.2;
  • Atlassian JIRA;
  • Crystal Reports 10;
  • CSS, HTML and Responsive Design Methodologies;
  • JavaScript, TypeScript; and
  • jQuery

       A minimum of five years .NET application development experience in a business setting, including:

  • VB.NET or other .NET language (.NET version 3.5 or later);
  • Multi-Tiered, object-oriented applications;
  • SQL Server 2008;
  • Source control (Git preferred); and
  • Visual Studio (version 2018 or newer preferred)

       Experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry, including knowledge of HIPAA regulations

       Experience with automated systems for the processing of Dental or Medical claims

       Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) standards and implementation

       Applicants must be familiar with the Advanced Health Systems' (AHS) proprietary adjudication engine, which is unique to AHS and integral to dental insurance claim processing.
