This Senior .Net Developer / Architect role will be part of an agile development group, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. This position reports to the Director of Software Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and architects to plan, design, develop, test
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
  • Package and support deployment of releases
  • Provide support to business users as necessary
  • Relies on diverse experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with source control systems (TFS) and continuous integration/deployment environments
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques
  • 2+ years of full stack .NET : C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, WebForms, MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS
  • In depth knowledge and experience with service layer technologies including: WCF, SOAP, Web API, SSO
  • In depth knowledge and experience with SQL Server and ORM technologies
  • Exposure to open source libraries (Angular, Bootstrap, Knockout, JQuery UI)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS, ELB, EC2, SES, Message Queues) a plus
  • Exposure to Excel and Word VSTO Add-Ins a plus
  • Exposure to an automated testing framework (Selenium) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
