Job description

Senior Project Manager (Data Center & Commercial) – Salt Lake City, UT

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex mission-critical data center and commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Salt Lake City market.

With continued investment in hyperscale data centers and large commercial developments across Utah, this is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced leader seeking to oversee high-profile projects while mentoring the next generation of project professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of large-scale data center and commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee contracts, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions.
  • Support business development and preconstruction efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Proven success leading large commercial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration.
  • Experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Stable work history with progressive leadership experience.
